Back in July we went on a few vacations..
The first was to Laguna Beach, California where we spent a week playing on the beach and getting some good quality time in with our extended family.
Next we headed to Medford for the wedding of a good friend and decided to make a quick stop by Crater Lake.
Neither of us had been there before and the view was spectacular. We didn't really plan for the trip so we hadn't packed a lunch. The food at Crater Lake was overpriced and didn't look appetizing so we decided we would stop on our drive back to Eugene. There was nothing. Not a mom and pop restaurant or even a drive through coffee stand. I became hungry, then starving, and then I quickly moved into raging lunatic. To the relief of my husband we finally stumbled upon a Subway. He was slightly concerned by extreme anger that my hunger caused. Two days later we found out...
we're pregnant! We were both thrilled - and relieved that my angry, hungry state had some sort of explanation.
I called my sisters first and was shocked by my little sister's reply.
she was expecting too! This exciting news was followed up about 6 weeks later by the news that my big sister was joining the party and was due shortly after us! Whew! My poor mother - too much to keep up with. So our respective due dates are Heather, 4/5/12, me 4/12/12, and Christy, 5/31/12. Craziness.
Now I'm 29 weeks into the pregnancy and I have been feeling fantastic. Tim's worried. I'm happier, healthier, and less emotional than I've ever been. If every pregnancy is like this we may end up with 10 kids. We're anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby Brown which has been made that much more exciting by the fact that we're not finding out what we're having. Your guess is as good as mine.
